🍿 A quarter-million dollars in Scout sales!

Through Week 6, Washington Crossing Council Scouts have recorded more than $252,000 in popcorn sales, including more than $30,500 this past week. We’re running 28.5% ahead of last year’s comparable weekend!

And they did it despite a Nor’easter disrupting selling plans across the area this weekend. Thank you to the families and volunteers who adapted their plans and kept safety first. If the weather washed out your weekend, there’s still time to regroup, share your Scout’s online store, and get ready for the next opportunity. 🍿

A special shoutout to Hunter K of Pack 1 for passing $10,000 in individual sales!

Behind these numbers are Scouts practicing their introductions, setting goals, working together, and earning their next adventure. Thank you to our families, popcorn kernels, storefront partners, and everyone who has supported a Scout.

Ready for a taste of what comes next in Scouting? Join us at Camp Skippy for a weekend built for Webelos and Arrow of Light Scouts!

Practice outdoor skills, tackle team challenges, and experience the patrol method alongside Scouts BSA youth and leaders. From first aid and BB range activities to fire building, knots, and knife safety, there’s plenty to try. The optional Tylersport Haunted Hayride is back this year, too!

The 5+ Club keeps growing!

Since August 1, 241 new Scouts have joined units across Washington Crossing Council. The 17 packs highlighted here have each welcomed at least five new Scouts, accounting for 164 new members together!

This growth is powered by volunteers organizing recruiting events, families inviting their friends, and unit leaders following up to make every new family feel welcome. Congratulations to these packs and to everyone helping grow Scouting across our communities.

Week 4 is in the books, and the Quest for Adventure keeps rolling!

Washington Crossing Council Scouts have now topped $175,000 in sales, putting us more than $42,000 ahead of where we were at this point last year! Even better, we have more Scouts and more units participating in the sale.

Congratulations to Hunter K. of Pack 1, our current top-selling Scout at $7,183.50, and Pack 1, leading all units with $40,811 in sales!

There is still plenty of popcorn to sell and plenty of adventure ahead. Keep it going, Scouts!

Since August 1, 121 new Scouts have joined units across Washington Crossing Council. Today, we’re celebrating the five packs that have each welcomed at least five new Scouts this fall!

This growth happens because leaders organize recruiting events, families invite their friends, and volunteers follow up to help every interested family find their place in Scouting. Thank you to everyone working to bring Scouting to more young people across our communities.
