Something to think on: this past week, TRR has worked on placing a third dumped rabbit with bad teeth, 2 that were found, one with a terrible abscess in her leg, 3 requests for surrenders (one a really bad situation), and one involving the loss of the home. Schedules were checked, plans scrapped, and toes may have been stepped on. But at the end of the day, are the people safe? If they are safe, the rabbits in their care can be safe. Sometimes helping the rabbit helps the person.

As a PSA, if you are considering supporting an org on any platform by going through a 3rd party campaign, check with the org before sending any money. All of us 501s have email addresses and can be reached via a legit website. We’ll answer about fundraisers, believe me, we all have to solicit to exist. Please help all orgs by asking before sending money to these scams.

If you’re alive in the Midwest right now, you’ve probably heard about a parasite going around that’s causing explosive diarrhea 💩

Cyclospora infections are being linked to contaminated salads and berries. Lots of folks are worried that their bunnies are going to get sick since fresh greens are such a vital part of the diet, but never fear! This particular parasite does not infect non-human animals so the bunnies’ butts are safe this time 🤩
