Our Season Pass Holders are an essential part of the Holt Brothers Foundation family. Their ongoing support helps us create meaningful experiences and provide year-round resources for children whose parent or primary caregiver has a cancer diagnosis.

TJ Nelson shared why being a Season Pass Holder and supporting the Holt Brothers Foundation means so much to him:
“I choose to support the Holt Brothers Foundation because Torry helped me when I was a kid struggling with my mom’s cancer diagnosis in St. Louis. The support group was very beneficial for me. It gave me a place to learn and open up to other kids who were also going through a tough time. The foundation showed me I wasn’t alone. So it’s important that I help give back to the next family in need and show them the same thing!”

TJ is taking that commitment even further by hosting a kickball tournament this fall to support the Holt Brothers Foundation and help more children and families know they aren’t alone.

Our Board Members play a vital role in advancing the Holt Brothers Foundation’s mission. Their leadership, passion, and personal commitment help us provide support, connection, and hope to children whose parent or primary caregiver has a cancer diagnosis.

Board Member Melissa Wistehuff shared why serving on the Holt Brothers Foundation Board is so meaningful to her:
“As a breast cancer survivor and mother of three, I understand firsthand how a cancer diagnosis impacts the entire family. I’m passionate about supporting and advocating for those walking that journey. I love being a storyteller and uplifting others with my podcast, especially when I get to highlight incredible organizations and local do-gooders like the Holt Brothers Foundation. I’m extremely proud to be a part of Torry and Terrence’s mission to help others in our community.”

We’re grateful for board members like Melissa, whose personal experiences and dedication help strengthen our mission and create lasting impact for families across our community. 💙

The families we serve are impacted by many different cancer diagnoses. With Colorectal cancer rates climbing in younger adults, we know this is a diagnosis that can often impact parents of young children.

The good news: colonoscopies are the only screening that can actually prevent cancer, by finding and removing precancerous polyps before they turn into something worse. That’s why screening now starts at 45. About 30% of people already have a polyp by their mid-40s.

This week, our Executive Director mcleanliz is checking something big off her to do list: her very first colonoscopy 👏 and repping worldclass_clothing.

This fashion brand, founded by two women who survived colon cancer in their 30s is all about raising awareness for this vital screening tool and making sure underinsured patients have access colonoscopies.

worldclass_clothing put together a Colonoscopy FAQ with tips and what to expect, so it feels a little less intimidating.

Early detection saves lives. If you’re 45+, or have a family history or other risk factors, talk to your provider about screening. 💙
