The fun is underway at the NC State Fair! 🐖

Stop by the Barnyard in the Jim Graham Building to play Beango, explore interactive displays, and learn more about North Carolina’s diverse agricultural industry. From discovering interesting farming facts to watching educational videos in our Moovie Theater, there’s something for visitors of all ages.

We’re also sharing delicious discoveries along the way, including tastings of new fair food creations and more food-focused content. We’re excited to be part of an experience that brings agricultural education, industry partners, and fairgoers together.

The NC State Fair begins October 15 and NC Pork Council is excited to be part of the experience!

Visit the Barnyard in the Jim Graham Building to explore interactive agricultural displays, participate in Beango, and learn more about North Carolina agriculture. Visitors can also enjoy educational videos in our Moovie Theater.

We’ll also be sharing highlights from Media Day, where we’ll sample and vote on new food offerings coming to this year’s fair.

We look forward to connecting with fairgoers and celebrating North Carolina agriculture and food throughout the event.

Bailee recently visited NC State University’s ANS 290 Career Exploration class to share more about her career path and her work with the North Carolina Pork Council.

During the visit, she spoke with Animal Science students about the pork industry, career opportunities, and ways they can get involved with NC Pork through programs like scholarships, Emerging Pork Leaders, and the intern reimbursement program. Thank you to Professor Melissa Merrill for the invitation and to the students for the thoughtful questions and great conversation!
