We all know that flooding is an issue, but did you know what Downingtown and its surrounding areas are doing about it?

Special thanks to our Executive Director, Kevin Zeeger, for highlighting how Downingtown Strong stepped up and continues showing up to prepare for the future.

In Coatesville, firefighters once stripped down to their shirts and shorts for water rescues. Now, they have dry suits in their lockers.

HYGIENE KIT SUPPLY DRIVE
When people are displaced, staying in an evacuation center, or recovering from an emergency, basic hygiene items can make a meaningful difference. A toothbrush, soap, deodorant, a clean washcloth and other basic necessities may seem simple, but they help restore comfort, dignity, and routine during a difficult moment.
Please check out our Amazon wishlist for a list of the items we are collecting for our hygiene kits. These kits are one of the most practical ways to we can prepare before urgent needs arise.
