đź’ś International Overdose Awareness Day đź’ś
Every purple ribbon tells a story.
Some stories are filled with laughter, family dinners, birthdays, and dreams that should have had decades left to unfold.
Others end far too soon, leaving behind empty chairs, unanswered phone calls, and hearts that never stop missing someone they love.
International Overdose Awareness Day is not about judgment. It is about love.
It is about remembering the lives that mattered, honoring the people we lost, supporting the families left behind, and standing together to say that every life has value. It is also about raising awareness, ending the stigma surrounding substance use disorder, and reminding those who are still struggling that recovery is possible and hope is real.
This year, the Stewart County Alliance for Substance Abuse Prevention invites you to honor someone special by purchasing an International Overdose Awareness Day Yard Sign.
Whether you place it in memory of someone you've lost or in honor of someone still fighting, your sign becomes more than a display. It becomes a promise that they will not be forgotten. As these signs stand across our community, they remind us that behind every overdose statistic is a son, daughter, mother, father, sibling, friend, or neighbor who was deeply loved.
🕊️ Signs are just $10 each.
Together, let's fill Stewart County with love, remembrance, hope, and a commitment to prevent another family from experiencing this kind of loss.
đź’ś Remember.
đź’ś Honor.
đź’ś Hope.
