Today I wonder if anyone would be willing to donate socks for our ladies… we had some upstairs in our closet from previous donations but have run out.

If you like you can drop them at Hudson House or have them sent to us!

Good Morning friends

One of our ladies is getting close to being able to get her drivers license back and we are in search of a dependable, affordable SAFE vehicle for her and her children…
It doesnt have to be beautiful and if it has some minor repairs needed that my husband can do we can work with that!

If you have or know anyone with such a car can you please let them know we are looking and to get in touch!

We are not looking to spend more than $2500.00

I know its a hefty wish list but maybe just maybe something is out there!

Good Evening Friends

We have several new ladies that will be joining us in the next few weeks and it seems when the previous ladies left they took the towels and wash clothes with them!

Would anyone be willing to donate some? I just checked Walmart and they have 5 piece set for a little over 10.00 (2 wash cloths, 2 hand towels, 1 bath towel) they need towels and wash clothes mostly but Im sure would be happy with anything!

Thanks so much to those who will donate! You can have them sent to Hudson House if you like 305 Cedar Street, thats the easiest way to get them to us!

Couple of our ladies joined Audurey at our Overdose Awareness Day! We each lit a candle honoring someone that we know that Overdosed and as always had a wonderful conversation!

Sometimes God will send you and angel and He did today
One of our ladies undershot the turn at Hudson House and hit the ditch and a metal spike
This man was turning left on 79 and saw us out there scratching our heads
He turned in and pulled her out and changed the tire!
Didnt even catch his name or who her worked for besides God Himself so thank you kind sir!
This being said the tire is unfixable… does anyone have a decent 195-65-15 that she can have or buy…

We are so thankful for our community partners that invite us to share about the program and even more excited when they ask to tour our house!
We are proud of the home we have built, alot of blood sweat and tears went into it, more tears than blood if I recall correctly!
Thank you again ladies! We appreciate and love you!

Boy do I have a love/hate relationship with posts like this! But our girls have flown the coop! Amber received her 7mo chip recently and after careful consideration and lots of prayers, she decided it was time for her and Charlee to go back home, closer to family and better yet to her son who is 19! We miss them already and I didnt get to hug their neck and tell them how proud I am of them…
Please give Amber some encouragement as she settles back home and finds her recovery community!
