We wanted to take this opportunity to thank Mike Foote and the members of the Antique Fire Association of New Jersey’s, “Canteen Unit”. This group of volunteers spend countless hours on emergency scenes throughout Northern New Jersey as they did this past Sunday night in Dover, ensuring our first responders were well nourished and hydrated when they needed it the most. The Canteen Unit is a non-profit organization that solely relies on it volunteers and donations in order to provide support for our First Responders, who are mostly volunteers themselves. In an effort to ensure their ongoing success, we urge you to also show your support and donate what you can. Please tap on their page and check them out.
We also want to thank all the Volunteer Fire Departments who responded this past weekend, taking time away from your families and loved ones to fight a fire in order to keep our community safe.
