I will continue to email and ask the public the people who are genuinely trying to help me get just for my baby, as I continue to grieve and fight for him. This case was wrong on so many levels, but I can’t get anyone with the power to look into this is beyond hurtful. Especially, people who have children killed by the police. I can’t even get anyone to see the wrong doing in this case and it’s sad that it have to happen to others, before anything is done. And the facts of depending on the circumstances you get people behind you.
I’m glad that the Nichols family got some help, but I’m also angry because people here in Ga experience similar situations didn’t get the help that his family got quick. So, I’m asking again, please help!!

Le'Den Boykins was 12 years old when he was killed by Georgia State Patrol Officer David Petersen followed behind the car until the driver Charlie Moore pulled over on a dark road because he noticed they were being followed. Once he pulled over after being followed down several streets (not on the highway residential streets) the State Trooper Petersen pulled behind the car and turned on his lights and dash-cam started recording.
On September 10, 2021 Le'den was riding in a car being driven by our neighbor Charlie Moore along with Mr. Moore's son Zyeir in Paulding County, Georgia when Mr. Moore noticed that they were being followed closely by an unknown vehicle.
According to Mr. Moore and his wife (his wife was on FaceTime the whole time) he pulled over to side of the road after being followed not knowing it was a patrol car. Mr. Moore decided to pull over to see if they were being followed. Once he pulled over Patrol Officer David Petersen turned on his lights and dash-cam and walked up to the driver side window. He asked Mr. Moore for his license & registration, Mr. Moore asked him why were they being pulled over. Mr. Moore immediately asked for a supervisor. State Trooper David Petersen called for backup because he felt like the driver was being evasive. Instead of calling a supervisor to the scene Trooper David Petersen called for backup and got 3 Paulding County Sheriff Deputies Z. Wix and Unk. Meyers, a third officer can be seen running, but we have not been able to identify him at this time.
At that time, there were more officers on the scene and Georgia State Patrol Officer Peterson declined to answer him and repeated his request for license and registration. Mr. Moore repeatedly asked to have a supervisor, not only was his request to speak to superior denied but according to Mr. Moore's son Zyeir the officers began a count down from 5 and when they reached zero they deputy began to busting out the car windows and out of fear for his life Mr. Moore pulled off and dialed 911. A violent chase began. These 3 officers took turns ramming their patrol cars into Mr. Moore's car until Georgia State Patrol Officer David Petersen successfully flipped Mr. Moore's car killing my 12 year old son Le'Den Boykins in the process.
Mr. Moore is in jail awaiting trial for numerous charges including murder for the death of Le'Den Boykins, the officers involved faced no charges and the Georgia Bureau of Investigation found no wrong doing on the part of the officers and as of today Le’Den is not considered a victim.
The State of Georgia never reached out to Le'Den’s parents never offered an explanation yet they passed his body from the hospital to the coroners office and eventually to the Georgia Bureau of Investigation where an autopsy was performed. It took my family 4 days to find Le’Den’s body.
To this day Le'Den's is not considered a victim, his parents have not been part of any investigation, and the parent do not know who identified his body, the police are still holding his personal belongings as if this 12 year old kid's cellphone and cloths are somehow evidence in their case against Mr. Moore.
Their has been no transparency on the part of Georgia State Patrol and the Paulding County Deputy Sheriffs, in fact Le’Den’s parents the true victims in this case mentioned that the State is acting as if Le'Den was some sort of criminal in this matter.
Le’Den’s father reached out to the Georgia State Patrol to question this matter and was told that officers were not aware of the children in the vehicle, after which the 911 tape was released to youtube and you can clearly hear the officers and the 911 operator say that there are children in the car.
In this petition we demand that a new law is passed so that when officers are involved in the death of minor they to have to face a jury. There is no moral reason for Le'Den’s parents to be given the silent treatment after their son's death was caused by the very people sworn to uphold the law and protect the innocent.
These officers should have been arrested, issued a bond or immediately fired, suspended without pay, retain an attorney and face charges just as anyone else would have had to do if they committed such a vile act.
In this petition, We are asking that when a child is murdered at the hands of law officials, those officers involved be immediately relieved of their duty's and a thorough investigation into the actions taken leading up to the death of a minor be complete by a separate entity,
We are also asking that no child's body shall be passed around to entity's of law and or cut open (autopsy) until that child's parents is notified.
We are asking that a bill is passed into law so that it is mandatory that when a child is killed by law officials there is complete transparency with that child's parents regarding the incident and handled immediately.
If we fail to pass new legislation regarding the immunity granted to police officers nationwide after committing such atrocity. These officers will continue to carry on like gang members given the green light to kill without fear of prosecution. Meanwhile, the system is failing right in front of our eyes and nobody in congress, senate, attorney general, church leaders and the list continues will families affected by police brutality with no solutions, we can’t continue to keep letting officers of the law to get away with their gross negligence. I’m begging you to look into our child’s case because we deserves justice for our baby. Le’Den was the sweetest, most kind, respectful, and talented kid in more ways than one. He was my baby boy and I struggled everyday to get through my days without him and as I have mentioned before he is not considered a victim. No one should ever have to experience losing a child at such a young age that was an innocent child riding home with his friend and his friend father. We feel these officers should be held accountable and punished. They should be treated like a civilian and shouldn’t receive qualified immunity. These officers are out here acting like members of a gang and getting away with it. There’s nothing that can be done to bring him back and that is heartbreaking that my life have been forever changed and no one seems to care. Please help bring this case to light and seek justice for our baby. We have retained a lawyer (Mr. Lee Merritt) and are seeking criminal charges against the Georgia State Trooper and Paulding County Sheriff’s Officers that is involved in the cover up of Le’Den Boykins murder. This was no accident!! Those officers were fully aware that children were in that vehicle and they broke their own policy that states they are not suppose to perform a pit maneuver on a vehicle when they know that children are in a vehicle. On Thursday, February 9th my attorney Lee Merritt (+1 (215) 876-7016) along with the President of NAACP of Atlanta Gerald Griggs and President Bates of the West Chapter of Paulding County and Douglas County attended a phone call from Attorney General Chris Carr office told us there was nothing they could do for Le’Den. At that time my attorney called my husband Anthony Boykins and told us we need to take this Congress in Washington, D.C. I have also attached audio, videos, and a report from Sergeant Ashley Henson from Paulding County Sheriff Department. If you copy and paste these links you will hear and see evidence in Le’Den’s case, but he is NOT considered a victim. No one has contacted us since this happened on 09/10/2021.

Police talking to Police Dispatcher and stating they were aware of children being in the car. Stating if he doesn’t pull over their going to be in a ditch and stated that they knew children were in the car. This did not happen on a highway.
