📣 Our Next Event Is Officially Scheduled!

We’re excited to partner with Planet Fitness of Hiram for our upcoming Health & Fitness Workshop!

We know that gym intimidation is real. Walking into a gym for the first time—or returning after some time away—can feel overwhelming. But we also know how important an active, healthy lifestyle is for building confidence and lifelong wellness.

That’s why this workshop is designed for new, returning, and experienced gym-goers alike. Participants will have the opportunity to get comfortable in the gym, learn proper techniques, and work alongside a certified personal trainer in a welcoming and supportive environment.

⭐️ Another Bright Star event in the books! ⭐️

We had such a wonderful time at our Youth Firearm Safety Class, and we are so thankful to every family who came out and joined us!

This class was all about education, awareness, and prevention. Our kiddos learned what to do if they ever encounter a firearm—whether it’s at home, at a friend’s house, or somewhere unexpected. Most importantly, they learned the importance of never touching an unattended firearm, leaving the area, and immediately telling a trusted adult.

Firearm safety is an important life skill for ALL children, regardless of whether or not there are fi****ms in their own home. By giving children this knowledge in a safe, environment with professionals, our hope is that they will feel confident making the right decision if they are ever faced with that situation.

We are SO proud of all of our participants for listening, asking questions, and taking this important lesson seriously!

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who helped make this event possible and to the parents and guardians who took the time to bring their children out to learn with us. Your support allows us to continue providing hands-on educational opportunities like these to children in our community.

AND.. last but certainly not least, we could not have made this possible without the Governors Gun Club & Paulding County Sheriff’s Office ! Thank you guys so very much for your time, teaching the kids, and for everything you do for our community!!
