TRAGIC DROWNING IN WAYNE COUNTY

A tragic scene unfolded Thursday evening at Lake Grace in Wayne County after a man reportedly fell into the water.

According to information released, Wayne County 911 received the call around 5 p.m. on June 11, 2026. Emergency services rushed to the area, but first responders were initially unable to locate anyone in the water.

A dive team was later called to the scene. After several hours of searching, the man’s body was recovered just before 10 p.m.

The man has been identified as Ron Hrabar.

Our thoughts and prayers are with his family, friends, and everyone impacted by this heartbreaking loss.

Many people in Wayne County know Lake Grace well. Have you ever been there before?

Today, we pause to remember and honor the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom. 🇺🇸

Their courage, service, and selflessness will never be forgotten. As we spend time with family and friends this Memorial Day, may we also reflect on those who gave everything for the freedoms we enjoy each day.
