Tonight’s Bible study was wonderful! 💕 Amy Gardner did an amazing job leading the girls as we continued learning about Elijah’s encounter with Obadiah.

We talked about how, although Obadiah faithfully served King Ahab in his position, his ultimate loyalty was to God. His life is a beautiful reminder that God can use us as witnesses to others, even in the midst of a broken world.

We were also reminded of the importance of standing firm in God’s Word and not “dropping the ball” when God gives us an opportunity to take a stand for Him. Sometimes the ball is in our court, and we must choose faithfulness, courage, and obedience.

Of course, we put the lesson into practice with a competitive round of Don’t Drop the Ball! 😂 Let’s just say we discovered that throwing and catching may not be everyone’s greatest spiritual gift! 🏐🤣

We ended the evening with yummy cross cupcakes, and each girl received a small crown as a reminder that she is precious and important in God’s eyes. 🧁✝️💗

Another beautiful night of fellowship, laughter, and learning with these girls! We are so thankful for the opportunity to pour into their lives and watch God work in their hearts. 💕💜👑

OOC’s Sip & Paint was a blast!

We discovered that we have some seriously talented artists in the group—and possibly a few who are keeping those talents hidden for now! 😂

A BIG thank you to Rachel Kurtz for being our fierce leader and coming to the rescue to fix a few crowns that needed some extra attention. 😂👑

We had great food, refreshing drinks, and LOTS of laughs! It was such a fun night filled with creativity, fellowship, and memories.

Safe to say… we definitely wear our crowns better than we paint them! 😂👑💜

Tonight’s Bible study was such a beautiful reminder of what it means to be authentic in our obedience to God and what faith looks like when it is backed by action. ❤️

We continued learning about Elijah’s journey to Zarephath and how he had to completely rely on God to provide for all of his needs. God used this unfamiliar place to refine Elijah, strengthen his faith, and ultimately prepare him for what He had planned for his future.

The girls also enjoyed a fun Bible memory game while snacking on some yummy cotton candy! 🍭📖

But the absolute BEST part of the evening was hearing two of the girls share that they asked Jesus to come into their hearts this past Sunday at church! ❤️ There is truly no greater decision we can make in this life.

Watching these girls grow in their faith and seeing God work in their hearts is such a blessing. God is SO good! 💜👑

Bible study last night with the Chrysalis girls was such a blessing! 💜

We talked about what it means to separate ourselves from the ways of the world and live a life that is pleasing to God. The water in the picture represents the world we live in each day, while the oil represents the separation God calls us to in order to live fully dependent on Him. This was such a wonderful visual for the girls to see the separation which led to meaningful discussions.

We talked about Elijah and how God called him to separate himself and go to the secluded area near the Brook Cherith. Elijah had to trust that God would supply all of his needs because there was no natural way for him to produce food there, and the land was experiencing a severe drought. Yet, Elijah never went without because God was faithful to provide.

During this season of waiting and trusting in God’s plan, Elijah was sustained, shielded, and surprised by God. 🙏🏼

When we truly put our faith in God rather than in the ways of this world, we can trust that He will always be faithful. We discussed the areas in our own lives where God may be calling us to separate ourselves from the world so that we can live lives that are fully dependent on Him.

After an awesome lesson, the girls enjoyed making friendship bracelets and having a yummy treat! 🩷

I am so thankful that God has placed OOC in the lives of these girls. Little do they know just how BIG of a blessing they are to all of us! 💜✨
