National Day of Action for Voting Rights

Local organizers who planned and held Alabama No Kings events across the state (AL 50501, Indivisible chapters, and DSA chapters, just to name a few - see the link provided to see a list of some of the MANY No Kings coalition partners) promoted and showed up to actions at the capital all week long in solidarity with voting rights organizations. We took a supporting role to uplift their voices and will gladly do so again for the mobilization to Montgomery on the 16th. You didn’t see our names or our organizations in the headlines, but we are still on the front lines fighting for a more inclusive democracy. Solidarity Forever ✊
