This past week I got to tour Children’s Hospital with my Phi Mu sisters, and it was so special getting to see the place that connects two parts of my life that mean so much to me.

As a Phi Mu and the founder of Nurture Through the NICU, being surrounded by the mission of supporting children and their families made this visit extra special. I’m so thankful to be part of an organization that cares so deeply about these families and to have Nurture Through the NICU as another way to give back. 🤍

So grateful for days like today and for the opportunity to keep showing up for these little fighters and their families. đź©·

We’re BACK! 💗

After taking a little break, Nurture Through the NICU is officially back and we couldn’t think of a better time to return than during NICU Awareness Month. 🩷

September is a time to recognize the tiny fighters who started their lives in the NICU, the families who stood beside them, and the incredible nurses, doctors, and NICU staff who care for them every step of the way.

Nurture Through the NICU was created from a very personal place in our hearts, and getting to bring hope and encouragement to NICU families means more to us than we could ever put into words. We’re so excited for what’s ahead and can’t wait to share everything we have planned!

Here’s to celebrating NICU babies, honoring their families, and reminding them that they are never alone. 🩷

Even though I’ve officially passed on the title of Miss Houston County, I have not passed on the mission behind it. 💛

Nurture Through the NICU has always been about something so much bigger than a crown or a year of service. It was built from my own story, from long nights in the NICU, and from a heart that understands how desperately families need hope in those moments. That doesn’t expire when a title does.

While this chapter looks different, the calling to serve does not. I will continue creating baskets, supporting NICU families, and advocating for the tiniest fighters and their parents. The mission remains the same: bringing comfort, encouragement, and light into hospital rooms that need it most.

This is not the end — it’s simply the next season. Stay tuned for future updates and new ways to get involved. The work continues, and so does the heart behind it. 🤍
