Flipp is somehow STILL looking for his perfect match!

This handsome boy is ~6 months old and is taking applications for an active home where he can grow up to be the absolute gem of a dog he's already showing himself to be 🤍

And when we say a gem of a dog...we mean an absolute GEM. He's even started to win over his foster dad's heart...which says a LOT because foster dad is pretty hard to impress 😉

Flipp is a certified Good Boy who is crate & potty trained, incredibly smart, eager-to-please, food motivated, and already doing great on the basics like sit, down, touch, up, let's go, here, yes, no, get your ball, and more! He looooooves cuddles & pets (when he can sit still long enough for them 😅), has a fantastic personality, and genuinely wants & works hard to be a good dog.

He may have a seemingly endless amount of energy, but he's easily entertained with his favorite balls and mental games like food puzzles and learning new things, and is excellent at taking naps in his crate when he (or you!) needs a break.

Meet Forrest: Hide-and-Seek Champion 🏆🐱

Forrest and his siblings were found living in a garden. His siblings? Caught right away.

Forrest? Absolutely not. 😂

This sweet boy spent nearly ANOTHER WEEK hiding out, dodging rescue attempts, and making it very clear that he would be coming inside on his schedule.

Plot twist: We won. 😌

Now Forrest is discovering the finer things in life:
🛏️ Cozy beds
🍽️ Meals that magically appear
🧸 Toys everywhere
🏠 Zero need to hide in a garden

He’s still learning that humans aren’t so bad, so Forrest is looking for a patient family who will give him time to settle in and build his confidence.

This is one reason fostering matters so much. Vitani and her siblings were born outside and had minimal to no human contact for the first 9 weeks of their life. They were timid and shy and were fearful of being held. Fast forward to now when Vitani has been in a loving foster home for a couple weeks. She is so full of joy, loves being cuddled and becomes more confident every day.

Whether you love working directly with animals, enjoy being out in the community, or would rather lend your talents behind the scenes, we have a place for you!

Current open roles:
➔ Adoption Events & Community Outreach: Help with event setup, greet visitors, represent Maybel’s Legacy, and spend time with our adoptable pets.

➔ Creative & Communications: Put your skills to work through photography, videography, social media, writing, or graphic design.

➔ Animal Care & Transport: Help care for animals, assist with cleaning and laundry, provide some much-needed love, or transport animals to vet appointments, foster homes, and events.

➔ Behind-the-Scenes Support: Help with fundraising, administrative projects, organizing supplies, event planning, and other tasks that keep our rescue moving forward.
