GOO PANTHERSS! Let’s hear it for GSU!! 🎓🎉 Congratulations to all the graduates and a shout out to those who were involved in GSU FSA, Fil-Grad, and within the Fil-Am community!

In the following posts, we’ll be celebrating all May graduates, featuring a different university in every post.
Give them some love and support in the comments! 🫵🏽🫶🏽

Here's a special message from FLAN Founder Nicole:
🗣Congrats Grads, y'all aaate!! 😻🤏🏽 Brayden, very proud of you for reviving GSU FSA after its hiatus. I'm grateful to have witnessed it under your leadership as you passed the torch to Kristine, Mariah, and the rest of the FSA eboard. They pounced on the opportunity to launch GSU FSA's first cultural event, making Sampaguita Festival a reality!
We're all so proud of y'all and look forward to your exciting future purrsuits! 🐾🖤💙

🎓✨ Congratulations to the Class of 2026! ✨🎓

To our graduates, congratulations on your incredible accomplishments. We are so proud of you and wish you continued success in your careers ahead!

As we celebrate our first anniversary, we extend our heartfelt thanks to AAWPI, Kamayan, and AAVed for the support that helped launch FLAN, from the Civic Incubator Fellowship to our ongoing partnerships and fiscal sponsorship. We truly appreciate you being part of this journey.

Thank you as well to Gwinnett County and the Georgia AAPI Hub for your continued support of our community.
A special thank you to today’s tabling organizations: CZ, OFW Foundation, and the Philippine Nurses Association of Georgia. Your work continues to make a meaningful impact.

Huge appreciation to our volunteers: Sean Cordovez, Krishen Lane, Diana Tapia, Edrienne Rocio, photographer Mekayla Cordovez, and everyone who helped behind the scenes. Fil-Grad would not have been possible without you.

We also want to thank our guest speaker and supporter, Rep. Marvin Lim, the first Filipino-American elected to the state of Georgia and founder of the Lucky Shoals Community Association.
Thank you for your support in making this space possible and for your continued leadership in the community.

Thank you to everyone who has supported FLAN. Because of your generosity and presence, we raised $430, hosted our most attended Fil-Grad event to date, and celebrated our largest number of graduates yet. This milestone means so much to us, and it reflects the strength and growth of our community.

We also took photos at the event, feel free to download them. Link in bio 🔗

The Tradition of Fil-Grad
Rooted in community and tradition, Fil-Grad is more than just a celebration. It’s a way to honor the journeys, leadership, and impact of Filipino graduates while strengthening connections beyond college.
It’s a moment to come together, uplift one another, and celebrate this milestone surrounded by community.
As we continue this tradition, we invite this year’s graduates to be part of the celebration. Receive a Filipino stole to wear at graduation and join us for dinner with the community.
We’d love to celebrate your accomplishments with the Filipino community.
