🎒📚✂️ School is starting back, which means Backpack Buddies is starting back too! 🎉

Each week throughout the entire school year, our team supplies local children across two school districts: HUDSON ISD & WELLS ISD with food to take home for the weekend.

For some children, the meals they receive at school may be the only dependable meals they have.
Backpack Buddies helps bridge the gap between Friday afternoon and Monday morning by making sure they go home with food in their backpacks.

But we need our community’s help.

Every bag we pack and every child we feed is made possible through donations from people, churches, businesses, and organizations who choose to stand with us.

If the only place people can find Jesus is inside a church building, we’ve forgotten His mission completely.

Jesus didn’t wait for the lost to come to Him.
He went looking for them.

“The Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost.”
Luke 19:10

I had the honor of praying with this beautiful young woman as she surrendered her life to Jesus Christ.

Let that sink in.

While some debate whether the Church should go into places like this, heaven is celebrating because another name was written in the Lamb’s Book of Life.

“The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.”
2 Peter 3:9

The heart of God has never been to avoid those who are far from Him, instead His heart has always been to rescue them.

Now the question is: Where is the light?
Because in Luke 10:2 Jesus said “the harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few.”
Where are the workers?

Jesus left the ninety-nine to pursue the one.
But yet, we’re content repeating the same lessons to the same congregation while the lost are still waiting for someone to tell them they’re loved, forgiven, and worth dying for.

As believers we have to decide whether we’ll love people enough to go where they’re hurting, carrying the hope of the Gospel instead of our comfort.

May we never become so comfortable inside church that we forget why Jesus came.

Because there are still sons and daughters waiting to be found.

Doubt doesn’t usually begin with unbelief, it begins when we stop trusting what God has already said.

The enemy doesn’t have to destroy your calling if he can keep you questioning it.

What promise from God’s Word are you choosing to stand on today?

Preparing for my Netflix documentary as a Pastor living out Jude 1:23. 🎙️

Each month I enter into 10 different gentlemen’s clubs, with one goal in mind: bridging the gap between club and cross.

Club Mission exists to enter the places most believers refuse to go, bringing the hope of the gospel message directly to women working in these clubs.

This is spiritual warfare for women and I refuse to stay silent.

Last night we shared the love of Christ inside 3 Gentlemen’s Clubs last night.

We’re often asked “But why strip clubs?”

Matthew 18:14 explicitly says:
“It is not the will of your Father who is in heaven that one of these little ones should perish.”

So many people inside this industry need strong believers to meet them where they are at.
We have to stop with the nonsensical thought that “the lost will come to us”

You will not find a single Bible verse that says build a nice building and hope the lost find you.
God repeatedly sends His people out to where lost people are, rather than telling them to build a church and wait for the lost people to come.

When Jesus began His ministry, He traveled through towns, villages, homes, seashores, and streets. He went where people lived and struggled.

As a follower of Jesus, it’s our job to GO.✨
And we do not have the luxury to be disobedient.

Tomorrow at 6pm join us at Open Door of Hope for discipleship class.

The body of Christ needs unity now more than ever.

So let us join together removing all barriers of race, social status, or religious affiliation - and MAGNIFY the almighty Lord.

Pastor Erica will be bringing a edifying word that teaches us how to live as modern day Christ Disciples.

“And he gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the shepherds and teachers, to equip the saints for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ”
Ephesians 4:11-12

And with that, the 2025-2026 School Year is done! 🎉
SS Worship has successfully completed the entire school year for Hudson ISD and Wells ISD.
That’s 35 weeks of consistently feeding up to 80 hungry kids! 🤩

We want to give a HUGE thank you to TEE REX Designs and Caffeine Clinic who faithfully supported our program all school year long!

Thank you to every person who donated, packed bags, and participated in delivering bags. May The Lord bless you!

This church service is open to whole community.
We want to break down all the walls of culture and be ONE body of Christ.
