Raging Grannies WOWW We are Raging Grannies in the Lower Hudson Valley, activists for progressive causes, singing parodies at rallies, protests, and public meetings.

Raging Grannies WOWW is not a singing group, a chorus, or a choir. We are activists for such progressive causes as peace, social justice, human rights, and the environment. We write "speeches," fit them into borrowed melodies, and deliver them in unison as song parodies at rallies, protests, and public meetings. We decide among ourselves what issues to support or oppose, what to say, how to say it

, and where to say it. We are against violence in any form, but we are not afraid of offending groups who hold views that differ from ours. We do not take positions against individuals unless they are public figures, specifically government officials, whether elected or appointed. We do not endorse candidates for office.
