Ladies and gentlemen, I've done my absolute best. I tried. I pushed. I worked the streets. I've sold my soul for you. I've even kissed the babies and shook the hands (or is it shook the babies and kissed the hands?). 🤷‍♂️ But... The vault is officially locked, the tables are being set. TOMORROW IS THE DAY! 🎲🖤

Today isn't about the unofficial start of summer, backyard barbecues, or sales. Today is for the ones who never made it back home.

It’s for the families who still look at an empty chair, and the brave men and women who gave absolutely everything they had for this country. For us at Post 851, the SAL, and the Auxiliary, this day carries a weight we never take lightly.

We live in the freedom they bought for us. We will never forget their names, their faces, or their sacrifice.
