Anonymous Helper AKA Wanda's Wanderers will be serving dinners this Friday, September 4th 2026.

Home-made meal......

The meals that will be dropped off will be curbside at 529 Wyoming Avenue Scranton!!!

As for the deliveries. That will be to our usual clients in the Scranton area and Olyphant area.

We never had money to waste.

But we never let anything go to waste either.

A bruised apple still got eaten.

Stale bread became breakfast, not garbage.

A full pantry meant sharing it, not stacking it.

Nobody hoarded while a neighbor went without.

You gave what you could, even when it wasn't much.

We were raised to notice when someone had nothing.

That wasn't kindness. That was just how you were raised.

Now some people count coins nobody needs.

While good food gets tossed just a few feet away.

We were taught the shame runs the other direction.

It's never the family stretching a dollar that hurts the world.

It's the ones who never learned when enough was enough.

That's not success. That's just greed with better manners.

That's the world we were trying to build.

We didn't need a lecture on greed. We just never forgot what enough looked like.

Looking for volunteers and donations. The Winter is right around the corner and so are the holidays. Good luck is preparation meeting opportunity!! Let's make this season a lucky one for those that are homeless, veterans, disabled and / in emergency situations. Lets be prepared so we can better serve our neighbors in need. Dinner Service for Friday August 28 2026 will be canceled.
Again, we will not be serving dinners nor will we be doing deliveries this Friday.
Due to transportation issues and the breakdown of vehicles.

We will be resuming dinners on September 4th 2026.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.

Take out and deliveries will be available. Deliveries to the Wyoming Avenue location Scranton will be packaged and delivered instead of curbside setup and dinner service.
