⚾️🥎 To the children of our program - Opening day is more than just the start of a new season; it’s the celebration of your commitment, dedication, and passion for the game. It marks the moment that you have spent months preparing for. It’s where countless practices and hard work come together creating opportunities for you to shine on the field.

As you take your first steps onto the diamond this season, remember the values that brought you here; commitment, resilience, and most importantly, teamwork. Whether you’re stepping into the batter’s box, taking the mound, or fielding your position, every play is a chance for you to grow, to learn, and to lead.

But remember, baseball and softball are unique games. While they are filled with victories, players are also met with challenges and hundreds of opportunities to learn and grow. Additionally, there are games of failure, where even the sport’s best players make mistakes. However, it’s how you respond to those hardships that defines you. Each setback, whether it be during a game or during practice, presents you with a new opportunity to grow, not just as a player, but as a person.

🎉⚾ Mid Valley Little League Opening Day Celebration ⚾🎉

Join us as we kick off the 2026 season on April 11th, 2026 with a fun-filled day for our players, families, and community!

All spring 2026 players and families are invited.

📍 2:00 PM – Opening Ceremony & Ribbon Cutting
Crystal Park, Dickson City

🚗 2:45 PM – Parade Lineup
Manor on Main, Dickson City

🎊 3:00 PM – Parade Begins
Players will ride in parent vehicles alongside Mid Valley Emergency Services as we parade to Throop Little League!

🌭 All players attending will receive a hot dog and drink at Throop Little League following the parade.
