We were really shorthanded for today's performance but those that were able to make it performed like troopers. As always I am super proud of them and there effort even though we were missing half our usual group. A super thank you for all the kids that were able to be there. I wanted to thank the wonderful congregation and pastor at Clearlake AME Church for their generous donation to our program. It's is exceedingly humbling to us when a small church can show their love to us in the same ballpark as a multi million dollar company like Walmart. It means the world to us. Their support of our organization will provide 50 hours of lessons for our kids. How bout that. Again thank you good folks at clear lake AME church.

What an incredible evening at our TDMEC Vision Dinner! Thank you to everyone who joined us to hear about the impact of music education in our community and the exciting future ahead.

We're sharing a few photos from the evening and the amazing supporters who are helping make these dreams possible. We also unveiled our vision for restoring the historic Harbour Playhouse and transforming it into the Ziyanna Jones Harbour Playhouse for the Arts—a permanent home for music, arts, education, workforce development, and community engagement.

It would appear that KPRC 2 would like to do a piece on TDMEC. The shoot is scheduled for this friday at 10:30 am. How about that. Maybe I can get Randy Weber or John Cornyn or a rep from their offices to come by as well. That would be awesome to get that kind of support from our program and the Harbour Playhouse Project.
