The Dickens DoGooders surprised the Dickens Fire Department with a box of treats. Rowdy Logston is shown in the picture below accepting our small contribution and a HUGE THANK YOU to all our volunteers for always being there to keep us safe here in Dickens.

Calling all kids, families, and community members from all around Dickens County! Come join us on August 1st, 2026 at the Dickens County Courthouse for a fun-filled day before school starts back!

🚘 Car Show Registration: 8:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m.
🏆 Car Show: 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.

The DoGooders are looking for more volunteers! If you have been looking to help out in your community but just don’t have a lot of time, this could be the perfect fit for you!! We only have meetings right before an event and the rest of our communication is done primarily on messenger. We plan 3-4 events a year for the community. We would love to hear some fresh ideas and different perspectives on events. Please message myself or Yolanda Kautz and we will be happy to plug you into our chat!!

We hope everyone is having a wonderful Easter! 🐰🌷

A huge thank you to the Dickens 4H for inviting the Dickens DoGooders to be part of your Easter egg hunt. We had an absolute blast—especially getting to dress up as the Easter Bunny and handing out goodie bags!

We’re so grateful to have been included in such a fun event, and we’re sure so many children went home with sweet memories that will last a long time. 💛🐣
