The Dymaxion map, or Fuller projection, is one of my favorite projections! Created by Buckminster Fuller and first published in 1943 by Life Magazine, the map projects the Earth onto an unfolded icosahedron (a 20-sided polyhedron). It displays the world as one contiguous landmass in a single ocean, offering minimal distortion of continental shapes and relative sizes compared to Mercator maps. The map is available as a digital download in my Etsy shop.
