I was lucky enough to get the opportunity to attend the Ted Lindsay Foundation’s annual wine tasting event on Friday evening. I was honestly blown away by the event. Tremendous atmosphere with some pretty great people with some absolutely awesome wine from all over the country. I’d encourage everyone to take their spouse or significant other to this event, lots of fun, lots of laughs.
Cheers 🥂 to the Ted Lindsay Foundation and all their volunteers on a fabulous evening.

It’s with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Sara DesAutel, mother to Scott DesAutel who has hosted many alumni games over the years. Sara was a huge supporter of the Detroit Red Wings Alumni Association and the Detroit Red Wings. It was great that she had the opportunity to watch Scott wearing the winged wheel in the last game she saw. God Bless you Sara as we send prayers to your friends and family.

The City of Livonia is pleased to share that the Livonia All Stars will once again face the Detroit Red Wings Alumni on Saturday, May 2, at Eddie Edgar Ice Arena, with the puck dropping at 1 p.m. This annual matchup supports Breaking Barriers, with all proceeds benefiting their work in the community. Tickets are $10 each and available online only at zeffy.com/en-US/ticketing/livonia-all-stars-vs-detroit-red-wing-alumni

The event is expected to sell out. We encourage residents to join in, enjoy a great afternoon of hockey, and support a meaningful cause.
