Morality is not some mysterious thing handed down through sacred texts it is not set in stone and certainly not a product of religion. Morality is in fact a product of biological evolution and something that has developed through human reasoning. Like all other social animals it was advantageous for humans to cooperate and agree on things in order to survive and thrive.

I praise the darkness,
in which the Great Queen awaits.
I praise the devastation,
and Her precious gift of tears.
I praise the moments
in which She takes me up:
each lash, each hook, each rending talon.
I am laid waste: a feast for Her children.
Perhaps Neti will record my passing.
I praise the magnificence of Her kindness.
I honor the gift of Her love;
for it is only by the lash that my ego may be tamed.
It is only by hook and flensing knife that the poison of my own bitterness may be
cleansed from my heart.
It is only through the harshness of Her compassion that I may be raised up out of soulruin
and barrenness.
So ever shall I praise this Goddess of the Great Below.
Her blessings are endless, Her mercy vast,
the gift of Her grace mighty.
