Juneteenth is a powerful reminder of freedom, resilience, progress, and the ongoing work of equity in our communities and workplaces.

At Inforum, we recognize that progress has not been experienced equally, and that Black women continue to navigate both barriers and breakthroughs in leadership spaces. And yet, they continue to lead, innovate, mentor, and create opportunity for others every day.

Today is an opportunity to reflect on that resilience, honor the impact of Black leaders, and recommit to building workplaces and communities where opportunity, visibility, and advancement are accessible to all.

Through connection, leadership development, and community, Inforum remains committed to supporting women across industries and expanding pathways to leadership at every level.

That’s what Inforum is all about.

We create spaces where women can genuinely connect, learn, and lead together, in community. Through our network and leadership development opportunities, women don’t just advance their own careers, they help open doors and create momentum for others too.

As Inforum's year comes to a close, we're reflecting on the people, partnerships, and moments that made it so impactful.

This year, thousands of women connected through events, affinity groups, industry groups, leadership development programs, mentoring opportunities, and meaningful conversations across Michigan. Together, we welcomed new partners, invested in future leaders, expanded opportunities for growth, and continued building a stronger network for women to lead and succeed.

Change is inevitable, but resilience is a skill we can strengthen.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for Staying Resilient in Times of Change with Kelly Conway and Lisa Pearson for our HealthcareNEXT event this morning at Corewell Health!

Through the 3 C's of Resilience and insights from the PVA (Pondera Virtual Advisor) assessment, attendees gained a deeper understanding of their leadership styles, how they respond under pressure, and practical strategies for navigating change with confidence.

A highlight of the session was hearing Lisa's personal leadership journey and the real-world lessons she shared on building trust, accountability, and resilience during times of uncertainty.

Join Inforum and Warner Norcross + Judd for Rooftop Yoga & a Fundraising Reception on Tuesday, June 16 in Grand Rapids.

Start the evening with a relaxed networking reception from 5:30–6:00 pm, followed by a guided rooftop yoga session from 6:00–7:00 pm.

Bring your yoga mat and water bottle, and take in an evening designed to help you unwind, connect, and give back. A suggested donation of $30 supports a scholarship initiative providing access to personal and professional development opportunities for women facing financial barriers, with a focus on historically underrepresented women in the workplace.
