“NFL players who are participating in the national anthem demonstrations over racial inequality are “ungrateful, anti-American degenerates,” the director of the Michigan State Police said on social media.”

Col. Kriste Kibbey Etue’s comments come weeks after Michigan State Police tasered a 15 year old boy in Detroit, leading to his death.

NFL players who are participating in the national anthem demonstrations over racial inequality are “ungrateful, anti-American degenerates,” the director of the Michigan State Police said on social media.

Stay woke out there, y’all! Rick Snyder just made it even easier for big business to prop-up their candidates against the will of actual constituents.

It's part of an agenda to tip the playing field in one direction.

"And what I like is 5-hour ... 5-hour ... What I like is a 5-hour Energy. And I like orange," he says in the 18-second video. "So I bought two. It's a pretty good deal."

Flint. Marriage equality. This guy is out of touch, and on the wrong side of history. Please guys, get out early and support Gretchen Whitmer for Governor.

Gubernatorial candidate Bill Schuette's campaign video about 5-hour Energy can be construed as a nod to a major political donor.

Activists,

As you've probably noticed - this page has been dormant for quite some time. I know a lot of you came on board with our cause through the (successful!) impeachment campaign of a one-time Mayor of Troy MI.

For the past two and a half years, I have been living in New York City. While I have stayed up to date on MI politics, it felt inauthentic to rally for causes I could no longer vote to support as a registered constituent.

In these confusing times, I'm looking to establish a network of " " chapters in various major cities, focused on bringing attention to how LGBTQ rights are under constant assault - from established politicians of all affiliations - and supporting voices that have real solutions. Brooklyn Progressive Action Network is a great example of the content & community that I would like to establish.

If you'd like to join me in this effort, please send me a message. Change won't happen over night - but now, more than ever, change is so desperately needed.

Talk soon (hopefully),

Josh

"$2 Million"

Bill Schuette went to the U.S. Supreme Court, and all Michigan taxpayers got was a bill for $2 million.

This is important.

Planned Parenthood not only provides potentially life saving services for women, but for low income individuals & families across the nation.

This rings especially true for gay, le***an, bi-sexual, and trans people; who are routinely discriminated against and demeaned by our private healthcare system - either outright or subversively. Planned Parenthood provides a particularly welcoming, judgement free zone for our underserved populous, providing affordable access to health care, at a sliding scale.

The systematic, all-angles attack on our nation's poor, working class, and minorities has to end.

Make a difference. Register for the primaries. Vote.

The lawmakers voted to stop funding the group, but the bill has no chance of becoming law, and it was unclear if it would avert a government shutdown.

"The Supreme Court used cases from Michigan, Ohio, Kentucky and Tennessee, where restrictions about same-sex marriage were upheld by an appeals court last year, to find that the Constitution does not allow such prohibitions."

In a landmark victory for gay rights, a divided Supreme Court ruled that state prohibitions on same-sex marriage violate the Constitution.

Shameful.

Critics of the bills call the legislation state-sanctioned discrimination against same-sex and unmarried couples.

The best article you will read on this bill, hands down.

The best article you will read on this bill, hands down.

Congratulations, Michigan! Your citizens are now one step closer to enjoying the sacred freedom to discriminate, just as long as they are really sure that an invisible man in the sky tells them it's cool ...
