A few snapshots from the past few weeks! Our DSC team provides medical students with opportunities to make personal connections with the heart of Detroit- its residents. And a humbling reminder that medicine transcends just beyond a clinic and encompasses immersive care within our community

Thank you to Dr.Bryce for hosting a great picnic this past Sunday! It’s always motivating to be able to network with and bond with those who are also passionate about street medicine.

Last month the was kind enough to provide us with another donation of their coats. In addition to providing warmth, these coats also function as a storage bag and a sleeping bag. We could not be more grateful every time we are able to hand one out. Please check our their page to learn more about this incredible organization!

Outreach street runs are officially back!

Attention MSUCOM Class of 2025: Please wait until Fall semester to sign up for street runs. You will be able to sign up for membership, pay dues, etc at that time. All volunteers must go through a training session before going on runs. One will be held in October for the Class of 2025. Keep an eye out for emails and social media and announcements in the student newsletter.

Just a reminder to any future Class of 2024 Class of 2023 volunteers, we're having a mandatory training session tomorrow!

Good news! As COVID restrictions are lifting, we're going to start general member street runs again! First things first, we will start training our future volunteers. This training is mandatory for Class of 2024 and highly recommend for Class of 2023. We will be having a another training session in October for Class of 2025
