On May 23rd we are bringing the community together again at Boulder Creek Golf Club in Belmont, Michigan to honor Tommy, compete for a great cause, and make a real impact for underprivileged youth athletes!

18 holes. On-course contests. Raffle and silent auction. And a dinner to close it out right.

Every dollar raised goes directly toward funding student athlete sponsorships through the Tommy Lazzaro Foundation.

We got to meet our guys. 💛

We hit the road and traveled to Niceville High School and Mosley High School to connect with our sponsored athletes, and it felt special.

These young men are the whole reason we do this. Getting to look them in the eye, hear about their goals, and let them know they have another family behind them now was a moment none of us will forget!

We are proud to announce that Ga’Marcus Halstead, a junior wide receiver, and Samuel Chilsom, junior running back from Mosley High School have been selected as 2026 sponsored athletes through the Tommy Lazzaro Foundation!

As their coach shared, these young men consistently choose the tougher path. They choose growth. They choose discipline. They choose to get better.

Through this sponsorship, they will receive elite-level training, strength and conditioning support, and development opportunities as they pursue collegiate football.

This is the first step in what we believe will be something much bigger!

We’re honored to officially begin supporting student-athletes at Niceville High School through the Tommy Lazzaro Foundation. Watching this mission move from vision to action is incredibly meaningful.

These sponsorships represent opportunity: mentorship, growth, development, and belief in young people who are working hard toward their goals.

NICEVILLE ATHLETES: Two Niceville High School football players were recognized Tuesday as part of a historic milestone — the first-ever recipients of student athlete sponsorships from the Tommy Lazzaro Foundation, an organization built to honor the memory of a decorated Green Beret whose life was defined by service, leadership and an unwavering commitment to others.

Tri’Marcus Mays and Jakobe Gilyard were recognized during a special ceremony on Feb. 17 at Niceville High School. The Foundation will award two additional athletes from Mosley High School in Panama City on Feb. 23, rounding out its inaugural class of four sponsored student athletes.

The Foundation was established in honor of Tommy Lazzaro, an exceptional athlete, leader and U.S. Army Green Beret whose life was tragically cut short in a hunting accident in December 2024. At the time, Tommy was traveling to assist a fellow Green Beret — a detail that speaks to the selfless character that defined him throughout his life.

Created by his sister, Lexie Lazzaro, the Foundation exists to carry forward that legacy by supporting deserving high school athletes with access to elite training, conditioning, equipment and development opportunities designed to increase their chances of earning collegiate scholarships.

We’re fired up to announce two sponsorship recipients from Niceville High School who represent exactly what this foundation stands for: discipline, grit, and leadership on and off the field!

Jakobe Gilyard, a freshman running back maintaining a 3.8 GPA, and Trimarcus Mays, a sophomore OL/DT with a 3.5 GPA, have been selected to receive support through the Tommy Lazzaro Foundation.

Through this sponsorship, they’ll gain access to elite-level training and mentorship as they continue developing their game and pursuing future collegiate opportunities.
