PLEASE READ – THIS IS BIG ASK!!!! I am Richie Hughes, “Doc Richie”, and one of the founders of Sanctuary Friends Network. Let me tell you about my night. Tonight I had Emily Rogers in front of me. She’s a 22 yr old vibrant, beautiful Child of God who has a really rare form of B Cell Lymphoma who is out of options. She’s eligible for a case study at Kansas University Medical Center. Because it’s experimental, Blue Cross/Blue Shield won’t pay for it. KUMC is willing to enroll her at the discounted rate ($3.5 million) of $876,000. We were blessed to love on Emily and her beautiful while they were in Destin this week. Her parents Briggs and Brandy are so gracious for all the love bestowed to them. The only medical hope for this beautiful young child is to get her into this trial. I felt their helplessness, but yet consolation to Father God. They know how daunting this is.
Lord Jesus, this is no way a test!!! You are my KING and SAVIOR, you ALWAYS will be!!! However, only if Father God wills it, we are asking you for a modern day miracle, whether a total cure or the financial resources to instill hope to this family. I promise you Lord Jesus, the people I have tagged on this post are your prayerful people. I come to you with humility and I’m pleading for this young girl’s life. You have almost 3000 followers looking at you Lord + a bunch of prayer warriors I’ve tagged. Lord Jesus, if Father God wills it, let your Greatness be known by intervening however you see fit. This is a request Master, however you know I feel the hurt and angst of a faithful Father and Mother with their daughter in the balance. While I know Father God has His plan, I also know that our prayers can intercede and make a difference. Thank you Lord Jesus for listening.
