Hello Mrs. Khepera!

I hope you are doing well. Since it's the week of Spring Break, I wanted to reach out and give you a few major updates on how I've been doing, as well as how school has been going for me.

The last time we talked, I mentioned that I would do online classes last Fall, which I did. Throughout that time, I was taking online classes while working. I received scholarship money from Prairie View and additional funds from the Thurgood Marshall College Fund (TMCF) organization, which helped me to go off to Prairie View this January.

Although I've only been on campus for a couple of months, I am enjoying my time so far. I got accepted into one organization, Genius Girls, which strongly promotes sisterhood and community service. I've also joined a new crochet club on campus, which I am looking forward to. I'm ready to learn a new hobby. Most importantly, I made the Dean's list for my academic achievements for the Fall 2024 semester!
The ceremony will be next Wednesday.

Mrs. Khepera, I would like to thank you and the Nia Maat Khepera Born To Lead Scholarship Foundation for first believing in me, and allowing me to explore my educational endeavors beyond DeSoto.

I will forever be grateful for the impact that you have had in my life! 🩷💗💕🫶🏾

EXCITING NEWS from the The Nia Maat Khepera BORN 2 LEAD Academic & Entrepreneurial Scholarship Foundation

In addition to leadership and academic scholarships, The Nia Maat Khepera BORN 2 LEAD Scholarship Foundation will award FIVE scholarships to aspiring YOUTH (high school seniors only) ENTREPRENEURS, creatives, and inventors at this year’s 7th annual awards ceremony!

Entrepreneur scholarship award amounts:
$1,000-$3,000
