The Liberian people gathered to celebrate their 177th Independence Day, clearly expressing their desire for an alternative and inclusive Liberian community in Iowa.

They seek a community where a small group does not handpick their relatives and impose their choices on the community every election, as if we were living in a third-world country.

A big thanks to the organizers and all the volunteers who dedicated their time and effort to make this year’s Liberian Independence Day celebration a grand success. See you all at the County Meet on Flag Day, August 24th!
