📻 Polk County Iowa GMRS – After Net Report 📻
Good evening everyone,
Tonight the Polk County Iowa GMRS Group had a great turnout with 8 operators joining the net tonight. It was a lot of fun hearing everybody check in and participate.
Tonight’s topic of discussion was: “Something enjoyable you did this week.”
As always, it was great hearing everyone’s stories and answers. Thank you to everyone who took the time to join in and make the net enjoyable.
Group Announcements
The ARES is always looking for additional volunteers. If anyone would like to help support emergency communications and community events, you are more than welcome to volunteer.
ARES training events are held monthly, and if the training is posted on the GMRS page, GMRS operators are welcome to participate and join in.

Also, last night at the ARES meeting, we had a Net Control Operations training meeting, which was a lot of fun and a great learning experience for everyone involved.
