🌡️ Never leave a child alone in a vehicle. Not even for a minute.
Even on a mild summer day, temperatures inside a vehicle can become deadly within minutes.

🐾 The same goes for pets, never leave a pet unattended in a parked vehicle during hot weather, even with the windows cracked.
Before locking your vehicle:
👶 Check the back seat.
🔑 Lock your doors.
🎒 Keep keys out of children's reach.

One simple habit can save a life.

💜 Join Us for International Overdose Awareness Day 2026 💜

Join the South Central NH Public Health Network, Sorocknh, On the Road to Wellness, and others for an evening of remembrance, connection, and hope as we honor those impacted by substance use and stand together in support of recovery.

🕕 6:00–8:00 PM
📍 MacGregor Park, Derry (Rain location: Meeker Hall, 1 Hood Rd.)

The evening will feature guest speakers, Jaxon the Therapy Dog, food from Heaven's Kitchen Food Truck, family-friendly activities, and on-site peer support.

🎨✨ When communities come together, young people create powerful messages.

CATS was grateful to collaborate with Media Power Youth, South Central NH Public Health Network, and Boys & Girls Club of Greater Derry on the "Don't Let a Chemical Choose Your Vibe" workshop.

During this creative event, teens explored healthy decision-making and designed stickers that encourage their peers to make positive choices and stay true to themselves.

Thank you to Media Power Youth for leading this inspiring workshop, and to the incredible young people who shared their creativity, voices, and ideas.

Know the warning signs, stay hydrated, take breaks in the shade or air conditioning, and don’t wait to seek help if someone shows signs of heat stroke.
