So this is what we’re doing now Delta Air Lines ?

As a Marine Corps veteran myself AND one who owns this very shirt in a t shirt and hoodie form, this is absolutely asinine. (Yes, also with no bra because I legally don’t need to wear one and they’re uncomfortable. If men with bigger b***s than me don’t need to wear one then I surely don’t. 🤗)

This gear (as is a lot of my stuff) is from Til Valhalla Project who was founded by Korey Shaffer. When you make a purchase a % goes towards providing customized plaques, hand delivered to a family of a veteran who is no longer with us. His company has also donated over a million dollars to fight veteran su***de amongst a list of other things.

So if anyone is considering flying Delta especially with the holidays coming up know that your continued support to them is supporting their actions and this is how they treat veterans!

A Bay Area veteran told local media that a Delta flight attendant kicked her off for wearing the shirt.

❗️IMPORTANT PSA FOR THOSE IN MANCHESTER!! ❗️
TEMPORARY NEW LOCATION FOR THE FREE STORE.

For anyone who may utilize the weekly free store on Sundays hosted by MARF, NH Mutual Aid Relief Fund , the location will temporarily be held at a different location! Please share and tell everyone who may not have access to see this! Thank you!

UPDATE - we will be at Kalivas Park through December 3rd, and we will be back at Veteran's Park starting December 10th. =)

Hi friends! Please help us share this announcement that beginning next Sunday September 3rd, the Manchester free store will be relocating temporarily to Kalivas Park, because Veteran's Park will be closed during the months of September and October for construction. The city expects that the construction will be completed by November, and we will return to Veteran's Park as soon as it reopens. Stores will still run from 1pm-2pm. Thank you!

We have moved to the Myrtle Beach area in South Carolina but our service and providing resources to those in Mass and NH doesn’t stop.

We were able to donate over 60 winter jackets, over a dozen boots, snow pants and countless scarves, gloves and hats as we were moving to Susan Ochoa and her team Derry Village Rotary Club.

They host an annual winter coat drive in Derry, NH which is coming up in the next few months. Please consider donating new and lightly used winter coats of all sizes especially adult for the high school kids when the time comes!

Susan Ochoa is going on her 11th annual diaper drive come February 2024. She started it a decade ago and the Rotary Club fully supports and helps her efforts now. You can donate wipes, diapers or make a monetary donation directly to Susan come the time.

Please click the tag above for the rotary club and follow them so you can show your support and see how you can help. You can also be kept up to date on when the drives start so you can help out. Please consider choosing these amazing drives to help this year and next even if it’s just liking the page and sharing a post! It’s free to do so! We all appreciate the support!

Due to being unable to host our annual backpack drive this year we are very grateful to still have been able to send off 40 full backpacks to families. We also got to fill up a van with our remaining items to donate to The Upper Room in Derry! They help many kids in need and provide all types of services. If you aren’t familiar with them, I highly suggest you check them out and consider donating to them.

We have some big changes coming! We were able to donate 26 bags of kids clothes (17 followed by 8 more!) and a car seat to a new mom! This load was headed for Missy’s Closet based out of Manchester, NH. They are an organization aligned with our goals and we know they’ll be Able to do so much good with this. Thank you for accepting such a large donation!!

Terminology can make such a huge difference. At the shelters, especially the far and few in between veteran ones, they’re supposed to ask “have you served” and not “are you a veteran” because a lot of people don’t like being labeled a veteran. In the last year or so I’ve seen many more people use unhoused vs homeless and it’s important. Homeless once replaced a majority of derogatory terms such as hobos so times are changing. We want to help, not hurt, those who need help!

The narrative around homelessness is changing. With that, new terms arise. What is unhoused vs homeless, and how do we redefine homelessness?

Today we donated 17 bags of children’s clothes headed for Missy's Closet and a car seat elsewhere. If you aren’t familiar with Heidi and John and their mission Missy’s Closet then definitely head over and learn more. They’re huge advocates for families experiencing domestic violence and helping those in need. With some major changes coming for MUI, we are grateful for this opportunity to donate to another great organization that aligns with our goals and views! Check out the ways you can help and what you can donate to do so!
