Thank you to the Derry Public Library for hosting me once again to promote my book Lily and the Little Celebrations Club. ✨ Young Women & Parents of Greater Derry and surrounding communities, this opportunity might surprise you! ✨

When people hear “pageant,” they often picture the stereotypes. The Miss Greater Derry Scholarship Program is here to change that conversation.

This program is about helping young women discover their confidence, develop leadership skills, serve their communities, and open doors for their futures. 💛

Through the Miss Greater Derry and Miss Greater Derry’s Teen programs, participants gain experience in:
⭐ Public speaking
⭐ Interview skills
⭐ Goal setting
⭐ Community service
⭐ Leadership
⭐ Building confidence
⭐ Making lifelong connections

And yes, there are real scholarship opportunities!

Our titleholders are proof of what this program can do:
👑 Maddy Hawkes has earned over $30,000 in scholarships.
👑 Molly Kerrigan has earned over $4,000 in scholarships.

But the biggest prize is watching young women learn to believe in themselves.

Whether she’s already a natural leader or still finding her voice, this program gives young women a supportive place to grow, challenge themselves, and shine.

No experience necessary. No “pageant girl” stereotype required. Just a willingness to learn, grow, and try something new. ✨

Earning $7,000 in scholarships.

This year alone participating in the Miss New Hampshire Scholarship Program I have earned over $13,000 towards my higher education, giving me the opportunity to now pursue my masters in nonprofit management.

The biggest congratulations to Lauren Plank your new Miss New Hampshire!! You are truly one of the kindest souls I know, I couldn’t be more excited to see you lead the state with grace.

The biggest thank you to my family, friends, the Miss NH class, board, volunteers, the Greater Derry family, the Mathews family, KP Consulting, LAVO, Ashley Long, and so many more for your continued love and support. Longer post to come, but for now we rest🫶🏻

Thanks to the Miss New Hampshire Scholarship Program and its donors, I have officially made $5,000 so far in scholarships! Tonight I was honored to be named the recipient of the Rockland Trust Women in Leadership and the Spencer Women in Business Scholarships for my dedication to those affected by cancer and my Community Service Initiative Celebrate Everything.

Not only has this program paid off my undergraduate loans completely, now I am able to start my graduate journey! This is your sign to get involved in the Miss America Opportunity 👑

Tonight, I was honored to receive the Delta Dental Women in STEM Scholarship at Miss New Hampshire for the second year in a row for my work on cancer advocacy. This is one of the top scholarships awarded during the competition, adding an extra $2,000 to my list of awards this week so far. Attached is a photo with Miss New Hampshire 2001, Mary Catherine Morin, who I worked on Capitol Hill with for the Give Kids a Chance Act.
