Drawing inspiration from classic brunch cocktails, we’re adding an elevated and modern twist on our popular Bloody Mary. GARNISH & INSPIRATION

The Veggies and Succulent Atrium creates a distinctive Vegetarium that showcases the cocktail’s flavors through visible elements. One of my coworkers got super into her garden this year and started making videos about using garden veggies in cocktails. I loved the idea and wanted to bring it over to garnish games. I’ve used several veggies from her garden to make my cocktail! Also succulents are the only plants i can keep alive so i have a special love for them.

GARNISH & INSPIRATION

To enhance the cocktail’s richness with sweetness and spice, it is topped with black pepper-sweetened heavy cream, a dash of dehydrated citrus dust from orange peel scraps, and a hint of instant espresso powder. The inspiration for the cocktail comes from a memorable scene with Jacobim Mugatu from Zoolander, known for his humorous reaction to a foamy latte. The inspiration for the actual garnish is zero waste. Hop Alley shapes their restaurant and bar programs after utilizing all their ingredients in house.

INSPIRATION & GARNISH

The vibrant and elaborate garnish begins with a hibiscus rose petal stripe and a cannabis leaf inside the glass. It features two Thai chilies, a clipped cone of Magic Marsala chips, an edible cannabis pakora, and a capsule of hibiscus rose water. The presentation is completed with a dried fenugreek and curry leaf joint, and a mango chili bear. Inspiration for me is like a wild, dopamine-fueled trip. My neurodivergent brain is a relentless, hyperactive beast, simultaneously spewing out ideas while fixating on the same line from a viral TikTok video—all set to the dramatic strains of "Por Ti Volare." Amid this mental mayhem, one idea suddenly sticks, and the spotlight beams down. Picture this: smoky mezcal infused with fenugreek, cucumber, and curry leaf, mingling with the tangy bite of Indian chutney and the sweet heat of Thai chili simple syrup. The garnish blazes with a hibiscus rose petal stripe, a cannabis leaf, two Thai chilies, a cone of Magic Marsala chips (for the munchies), an edible deep-fried cannabis pakora, rose water-hibiscus-filled capsules, a fenugreek and curry leaf joint, and a mango chili bear. It's a madcap fusion of flavors and cannabis nuances that, against all odds, harmonize perfectly.

INSPIRATION & GARNISH

The garnish evokes a lakeside greenery with its blend of cinnamon, clove, fennel, rosemary, and mint, complemented by two charming sailing friends. I aimed to make the Jungle Bird more approachable by substituting ingredients and drawing inspiration from the nearby Sloan’s Lake neighborhood.
