GALS envisions a world where all young women are given access to a personalized and holistic education that provides the opportunity to access the skills, knowledge, and self-determination to succeed in college and to develop as leaders in the world. respective of their background, so that they can acquire the skills, knowledge, and self-determination needed to succeed in college and become leaders in their communities and the world. Their innovative education model focuses on physical movement, mental health and social-emotional development, positive gender, and academics, empowering young women to excel academically, lead confidently, live boldly, and thrive physically. As a public charter school within Denver Public Schools, GALS Denver requires an additional $1,000 in funds for every student to support its expanded programs, especially social-emotional and mental health supports during the pandemic.
