Here are a few shots from out partnership with 2019 Fiestas Patrias. What a day it was! Around 40k attendees at Civic Center Park. That afternoon it rained Cats and Dogs making the event end early. We are super excited for the 2020 event in September this year.

These past few weeks leading up to the E60 Sports documentary about Rashaan Salaam has been difficult for our team at SPIN. We are so grateful to Rashaan for his participation with the organization. One lesson of many learned from Rashaan was - we are not defined by our failures or triumphs, but only by the daily efforts to make our environment healthy and happy with all the tough choices in life we face. We miss you Rashaan!

Here is an article from 2016 NY Times article about our fallen soldier Rashaan Salaam. Many don’t know Rashaan’s huge heart and community efforts he was involved in before his death. If you don’t know stay tuned. We plan on sharing!

Rashaan Salaam, the 1994 trophy winner, was found dead this month. Now, many wonder if brain damage and the pressure of living up to Heisman hopes contributed to his end.
