🎄 Reminder: Special Schedule for the City and County Building’s Light and Music Show on December 21st🎄

If you are planning to attend the City and County Building's Light and Music Show at Civic Center Park this weekend, please note the special schedule for Saturday, December 21st:

During the We Will Remember: Homeless Persons' Memorial Vigil, the building will remain dark until 6:45 PM to honor those we’ve lost. After the vigil, the regular light and music show will take place, followed by a static light display for the rest of the evening.

Join us for Light the Lights 2024, Denver’s annual holiday kickoff event. Hosted by Denver7 anchor Micah Smith, this beloved tradition will light up the City and County Building with music, performances, and community celebration.

📅 When: Wednesday, November 27, 4:30 PM – 5:30 PM

📍 Where: Bannock Street in front of the City and County Building

Did you know Civic Center was the first National Historic Landmark in the City & County of Denver? In October 2012, then-Secretary of the Interior Ken Salazar designated Civic Center the first NHL. Civic Center was deemed nationally significant for its City's Beautiful design. The "City Beautiful" movement aimed to elevate the human spirit by making communities aesthetically attractive by building parks, planting greenery, adding sidewalks, and paving streets.
