Thank you for making HOPEtober Fest such a success! 💚

What an incredible day — full of laughter, sunshine, and hope. Together, we raised $21,700 for childhood cancer research!

A heartfelt thank you to Kiewit for sponsoring this event and helping us make such an impact. We’re also so grateful to our donating vendors — Casino Party USA, Bounce House Party, and the Alliance of Therapy Dogs (and their amazing pups!) — for bringing the fun and smiles.

Special thanks to Nighthawk Ranch, who joined us to share about their summer camp for kids recovering from cancer, and to Team Nathaniel for spreading awareness about their mission and giving out LEGO sets to the kids who came by!

A huge shoutout to Germaine DeBono for donating the beautiful baskets in memory of Rylee Sweet & Team Rylee for our raffle and silent auction — and to our incredible volunteers who kept the fun going with face tattoos and henna.

We’re thrilled to highlight two incredible women making HOPEtober Fest extra special this year!

Ilena & Casino Party USA

Ilena is not only donating DJ services and life-size games through her company, Casino Party USA, she also serves as our Family & Community Chair on the CureSearch Colorado Board. A longtime advocate, she walks in memory of her son Alonzo with her team Alonzo’s League of Friends. We’re so grateful for her dedication and the hope she continues to bring to this community.

Cassandra & The Bounce House Party

Ilena’s friend Cassandra is also giving back in a big way! Through her company, The Bounce House Party, she’s donating bounce houses so kids can celebrate and play all afternoon.

Thanks to Ilena and Cassandra, HOPEtober Fest will be filled with music, laughter, and fun for all ages.

✨ Let’s hear it from a hero! ✨

At our Community Hike in Boulder last May, we hiked 5.2 miles on Meyer’s Homestead Trail to tell cancer to take a hike. Among our hikers was a true inspiration – a nurse from Children’s Hospital Colorado who has dedicated 14 years to caring for kids and seeing firsthand the impact of CureSearch treatment plans. 💚

Her experience reminds us why we walk, hike, fundraise, and fight: so every child facing cancer has the chance for a brighter future.

And the fight doesn’t stop here - join us at HOPEtober Fest this October for a day of community, courage, and fun as we continue to raise critical funds for childhood cancer research.
