Earlier today, the Iredell County Sheriff’s Office was contacted by the Rowan County Sheriff’s Office to assist them with searching for a missing Dementia patient who had walked off from a location close to the Cleveland community.

Lieutenant Hodges and Bloodhound Sadie responded to the location. Sadie was deployed and ran a track for just over a mile where she and Hodges located the missing person.

Rowan EMS was called to the scene to conduct a medial check and the gentleman was returned to his family.

Great work by our canine unit and another locate and save for Sadie!
