Caroline County Fire Police Sworn In

The first ever Caroline County Fire Police were sworn in by Sheriff Randy Bounds on Tuesday June 13, 2017. Chief JT Bartz (Goldsboro) and the Caroline County Fire Chief's Association were instrumental in bringing the concept to reality.

You will see them providing traffic control and crowd management at emergency scenes throughout the county in the near future. Please be attentive to their requests.

The safety of all responders is number 1!

PLEASE SHARE! Coming to a fire house near you!

The Caroline County Local Drug and Alcohol Abuse Council has been to Marydel and Queen Anne-Hillsboro VFCs to hold Community Discussions. Feedback from them was extremely positive. Come out and join the discussion. Look for a date and location that works best for you.

Caroline County Volunteer Fire Companies Partner with the Local Drug and Alcohol Abuse Council

Caroline County Volunteer Fire Companies are hosting a showing of a documentary film called "Chasing the Dragon" beginning April 25th and ending May 17th.

After the viewing of the video there will be professionals on hand to have a discussion about the Opioid Crisis in Maryland.

We'll post more about the events every few days but here's a schedule.

COMING SOON to a Fire Station near you!

In cooperation with the Caroline County Local Drug and Alcohol Abuse Council the Volunteer Fire Companies in Caroline County are opening their facilities during the month of April and May to show a documentary on Drug use and abuse in the nation. There will be professionals on hand to discuss the crisis and will engage in valuable conversations on the topic.

Exact dates and locations are being assembled now. We will be posting here and on other pages the final dates and times.

Please share this with your friends. The discussion is intended for anyone 5th grade and above. It's such an important issue we hope you and your friends and family will join us.

Caroline, Talbot, Wicomico and Worcester Counties had Fire Service Leaders attend training this weekend in Ocean City. Many other counties in Maryland were represented also. 50 attendees from all regions of Maryland.
