Do you have gently used clothes, toys, furniture, home decor, or personal accessories?
At Upscale Resale Thrift Shop, clients of DCFOF, along with their families get to purchase gently used goods using vouchers.
In challenging times where victims of domestic violence and sexual assault need to leave the abusive home, they can be without their possessions or extra clothes, and forced to leave almost everything behind.
Through DCFOF, Upscale Resale Thrift Shop aims to give these victims the opportunity to regain that which they have completely lost or had to leave behind.
Upscale Resale Thrift Shop operates just like a regular thrift shop, meaning regular patrons can shop there too, plus, their purchases go towards assisting other clients of DCFOF!

Your gently used goods can be dropped off during Upscale Resale's drop off hours.

AmazonPrimeDay may have just past, but you can still go to this link https://rb.gy/51eoq to purchase much needed hygiene items for the women at the shelters and even other needed items such as Back to School items for children in need! Purchased items will be sent to Denton County Friends of the Family's address.

Interested in volunteering your free time to make a difference in the community? Look no further! At Denton County Friends of the Family, there are many ways that you can contribute your free time to doing something great for somebody else like, helping out at women's shelters, organizing the food pantry, to participating in fun group activities like the Back to School drive!
Signing up is easy, and the orientation + paperwork can all be handled in one day!
There are still a few dates left for volunteer orientations!

This coming semester, help support children in need by donating school supplies to Denton County Friends of the Family!
Children are greatly affected by not only abuse and assault in their homes, but they may be experiencing financial neglect to where they may not be able to obtain backpacks, pens and pencils, notebook paper, and much more for their return to school.
Donations are to be dropped off at the DCFOF Outreach Office located at 4845 S I35 East by July 28th.
