Surge Baseball is looking for elite, high-performing players to join our highly competitive 8u AAA squad as we prepare for our transition to 9u this upcoming Fall 2026!

It was a big weekend for Surge 11U Gold, winning the TSB Lonestar Classic and leading every game wire-to-wire. They clicked on all cylinders - pitching, defense and hot bats and the dugout was filled with cheers and big smiles all weekend long. The coaching staff kept the boys active and engaged and pushed them when needed. Miles Dodge, #44, took home the NCS Impact Player banner for his work on the mound on Sunday. Up next is the season closer at Rocker B!

YES, WE WILL HAVE TRYOUTS!

Surge Baseball will be posting tryout dates soon for the upcoming season.

Right now, many of our teams are still competing and finishing their current season. Out of respect for our current families, players, and coaches, our focus remains on helping our teams finish strong.

At Surge, we believe players should finish what they started, stay committed to their current team, and compete the right way through the end of the season.

Tryout information will be released soon. Thank you to everyone who has reached out and shown interest in Surge Baseball. We are excited for what’s ahead.

SURGE ELITE 12U – WEEKEND RECAP
TSB TEXAS OPEN SERIES #1 (NCS)

First official weekend of the season. 12U group playing up in a 13U Open bracket… and we showed exactly who we can be and where we need to grow.

Saturday
Game 1, we came out flat. Couldn’t find the zone, didn’t make plays, and dug ourselves an 8-run hole in the first. Credit to the boys—after a reset, the energy shifted. Defense tightened up, bats woke up in the 3rd, but we ran out of time. Lesson learned: you can’t wait to flip the switch.

Game 2, we carried that momentum. Jumped early, competed, and found a way to win 6-5. Let it get closer than it should’ve late, but closed it out. Growth.

Sunday
Came in as the 13 seed—middle bracket.

Game 1, tight early… then we broke it open.
Nehemiah threw a no-hitter (10 K’s) and the offense backed it with 12 hits and 13 runs. That’s what we’re capable of.

Game 2, same energy.
Liam on the mound—2 hits, 1 run.
Offense stayed hot—13 hits, 11 runs. Complete team baseball.

Championship game… we didn’t show up the same way.
Flat again. 5 costly errors. Couldn’t create momentum. That’s the difference right now.

Final: 10th out of 21 teams
(12U competing up in 13U Open)

This group can punch above their age. Now it’s about consistency.

We’re not chasing rings.

That’s the standard.
