*** UPDATE ***

8:10 p.m.

We have a tragic update regarding the search for the missing 7-year-old child.

At approximately 8:00 p.m., members of the Tulsa Fire Department located the child's body a few blocks from where he was last seen. Preliminary evidence suggests he walked southwest from his home toward a creek at the end of a cul-de-sac.

We are unable to release any initial findings at this time, as the Medical Examiner now has jurisdiction over the child and the investigation.

Our deepest condolences go out to the child's family and everyone who knew and loved him.

Nearly 150 first responders assisted in the search and never gave up hope. Thank you to the Tulsa Fire Department, EMSA OKLAHOMA, and the Tulsa County Sheriff's Office (TCSO) for your diligence and commitment to our community.

MISSING CHILD - 7-year-old nonverbal autistic boy

We’re trying to locate Asher.

Asher is a 7-year-old nonverbal autistic boy who was last seen today around 2 p.m. at his home near 45th Street North and N. Delaware Ave.

He’s wearing a blue-green shirt and a pull-up.

It is with profound sadness that we share that a body believed to be 11-year-old Parker Wells has been found, bringing a heartbreaking end to the search that has gripped our city.

Our hearts are with Parker’s family, friends, loved ones, and everyone affected by this unimaginable tragedy. No family should ever have to endure a loss like this, and we hope they are surrounded by love and support in the difficult days ahead.

We also want to express our sincere gratitude to the Calgary Police Service, Calgary Fire Department, search teams, volunteers, and every public service worker who dedicated countless hours to searching for Parker. Their unwavering commitment and compassion will not be forgotten.

As this investigation continues, we encourage everyone to respect the family’s privacy and keep them in your thoughts.

Calgary Police are now playing Disney music through the neighborhood, hoping the familiar sounds will help guide this nonverbal autistic child toward safety. 😭🙏🏽

Unfortunately missing 5 year old Edward Hall was found deceased by Texas Equusearch in a lake near his home. Edward had been missing since 5am Sunday morning and it was reported that he was autistic. The following information was shared by The Fort Bend County Sheriff’s Office page:

The Fort Bend County Sheriff's Office is saddened to report that 5-year-old Edward Hall, who was reported missing on Sunday, July 19, 2026, has been located deceased.

Edward's body was located by Texas EquuSearch Search & Recovery at approximately 1:43 a.m. on Monday, July 20, 2026, in a lake near his home. His family has been notified.

At this time, investigators have found no signs of foul play. The investigation remains ongoing.

The Fort Bend County Sheriff's Office extends its sincere gratitude to Texas EquuSearch Search & Recovery for its invaluable assistance and partnership throughout the search efforts.

Our thoughts and prayers are with Eddie and his family during this difficult time.

💔HEARTBREAKING UPDATE: “The Clayton County Police Department regrets to announce that 6-year-old Ramon "RJ" Jett, the missing child who was the subject of an intensive search effort, has been located.

Tragically, "RJ" was found in a pond close to his last known location, deceased. His family has been notified.”

UPDATE: Clayton County Police say RJ is still missing as of 10:26 PM. They plan to keep searching for him through the night.

🚨PLEASE SHARE!: A 6-year-old boy named Ramon Jett has been missing since around 11:30 this morning in Clayton County.

There’s a large police presence at the Sutter Lake Apartments on Webb Road as that’s where the child was last seen.

Ramon is described as:
- Approximately 3 feet, 5 inches tall
- Approximately 40 pounds
- Black hair
- Brown eyes

He was last seen wearing a light green shirt, camouflage shorts, and white socks.

Ramon is nonverbal and suffers from a mental health condition. Due to his condition, he may be unable to communicate or seek help, and officers are deeply concerned for his safety.

Police say EVERY minute is critical.

🚨 Every autism parent knows the reality behind this statistic.

🚨 We install extra locks. We add door alarms. We invest in security systems, cameras, GPS trackers, fences, identification bracelets, and countless other safety measures. Many of us sleep lightly—or not much at all—because we’re constantly listening for a door opening, footsteps in the hallway, or the sound of silence when it shouldn’t be silent.

🚨 Yet despite all of these precautions, nearly 1 in 2 children with autism will wander from safety.

🚨 Autism elopement isn’t the result of bad parenting. It isn’t a lack of supervision. It’s a well-documented safety risk associated with autism, often driven by sensory needs, curiosity, a desire to reach a favorite place, or an inability to recognize danger.

🔹 Nearly 50% of children with autism will attempt to wander or elope from a safe environment at least once after age 4.

🔹 The peak age for elopement is between ages 4–7.

🔹 Approximately 33% of children who wander are unable to communicate identifying information such as their name, address, or phone number.

🔹 Nearly 65% of families report a “close call” with traffic after a child with autism elopes.

🔹 Drowning accounts for the vast majority of wandering-related fatalities among children with autism.

🔹 Children with autism are 160 times more likely to drown than their neurotypical peers, largely due to wandering behaviors and attraction to water.

As the mother of a child with autism who wandered as a toddler, I know firsthand that these aren’t just statistics. They represent real children, real families, and real emergencies.

💙 What would The Owen Alert do?

The Owen Alert would establish an immediate emergency alert system specifically for missing children with autism and developmental disabilities who are at high risk due to elopement.

Unlike current systems that often require additional criteria or delays, the Owen Alert would:

📱 Send an immediate emergency notification directly to residents’ cell phones within approximately a 50-mile radius of where the child was last seen.

🚔 Activate a coordinated response among law enforcement, emergency management personnel, and community partners.

🧩 Provide critical information about the child’s unique needs and risks associated with autism and developmental disabilities.

⏱️ Focus on the most important factor in any missing child case: time.

⚠️ How is this different from existing alerts?

The Owen Alert is not intended to replace an AMBER Alert, Silver Alert, or Endangered Missing Person Alert.

The key difference is that the Owen Alert would be:

✅ Immediate
✅ Autism-specific
✅ Sent directly to phones in the affected area
✅ Designed around the unique risks associated with autism-related elopement

💡 And this is only the beginning.

Once passed, the next legislative step would be to advocate for mandatory autism safety and response training for all emergency management personnel across the State of Texas.

When a child with autism is missing, first responders need to understand:
• Elopement behaviors
• Attraction to water
• Communication differences
• Sensory needs
• Effective search and interaction strategies

Because awareness saves time. And time saves lives.

💔 UPDATE: AXEL HAS BEEN FOUND DECEASED 💔 The Geary County Sheriff's Office announced that Axel, the non-verbal autistic child who was reported missing from Junction City, Kansas on June 5, 2026, was located on June 6 during the early afternoon hours. He was transported to Stormont Vail Health - Flint Hills Campus, where he was later pronounced deceased.

An extensive search operation involving numerous law enforcement agencies, first responders, volunteers, and community members continued throughout the night and into the following day as efforts were made to bring Axel home safely.

Our hearts are with Axel's family and loved ones as they face this unimaginable loss. We also extend our gratitude to the first responders, volunteers, and community members who dedicated their time and resources to the search.

Rest peacefully, Axel. You were loved, and you will not be forgotten. 💙❤️🧡💛
