We have new apparel on the website, including our new camo hoodies! This new merch is made to order and shipped directly to you.

All of the donations and proceeds go to the foundation to help raise money to give back to the community that has held us so tight during this immeasurable loss. Thank you for being here with us!

☀️ W I N D O W S ☀️

There are windows going in at Owen’s Playroom at Cup of Joy Cafe in Demotte! We’re so grateful to Jhan and Raychel with Gear Construction for squeezing us into their schedule and making this happen!

While the playroom is being updated, the toys and tables are put away and covered to avoid the dust. There are construction supplies behind the plastic so please don’t move anything in this room until it’s done this week 🧡

This community room is coming together nicely and we can’t wait for everyone to see our final plans!!

Our movie in the park night is THIS Wednesday. We’ll have snacks and a game so come hangout with us!

If you haven’t seen this movie, it’s stinking adorable and I also enjoy watching it as an adult 🧡

This Wednesday, 7/29, Summer Movie in the Park will be the movie Home! This movie is generously being sponsored by The 143 Owen Foundation, Kougar Pride Preschool, and Henderlog Homes.

Our sponsors with be bringing free snacks for all! Thanks to their generosity this is a free event for the community.

The movie wil start promptly at dusk and, as always, weather permitting.

There is just one week and a half left to submit your application for a The 143 Owen Foundation Preschool Scholarship at Kougar Pride Preschool in Wheatfield!

📅 Applications close July 31, and no applications will be accepted after that date.

A few important reminders:
💙 Scholarship recipients are selected through a random drawing from all eligible applications. This is not based on financial need, essays, or the order applications are received.
💙 We will only contact applicants using the phone number or email address provided on your application.
💙 We will never ask you for money or payment.
💙 We will never notify winners or contact you through Facebook Messenger or social media.

✨ SURPRISE! Our next community project is… Owen’s Playroom at Cup of Joy Cafe! ✨

This little room has already been the backdrop for so many beautiful moments.

It’s where moms, dads, grandparents, sitters can bring their little ones after school drop-off, meet friends on a Saturday morning, and catch their breath over a cup of coffee while their kids play.

I’ve cried, I’ve laughed, I’ve been prayed for, and had the privilege of praying for others. This room has hosted Bible studies, mom’s group gatherings, and countless conversations that reminded us we don’t have to walk through life alone.

It’s also where my own kids have made messes, built friendships, and filled the room with giggles.

What an incredible honor it is for The 143 Owen Foundation to help transform this space into something that will serve families for years to come—a place where children can play, imaginations can grow, and parents, grandparents, and caregivers can find connection, encouragement, and community.

But… we’re not done yet. 👀

We can’t wait to reveal the finished space and welcome families into a playroom built with love, laughter, and the hope that everyone who walks through the door feels like they belong. 💛
