Nancy Valenkamph Cancer Foundation

Nancy Valenkamph Cancer Foundation On February 22, 2010 my wife Nancy lost her battle to neuro-endocrine carcinoma, a very rare cancer with no explanation to the cause.

I pledged to Nancy that I would continue the work she started in fund raising efforts for the American Cancer Society's Relay for Life Program and I would dedicate my life to raising money to find a cure.

May is Brain Cancer Awareness Month β€” also known as Brain Tumor Awareness Month or Gray May.

This month is dedicated to supporting patients and families, raising awareness, funding research, and highlighting the urgent need for better treatment options for those facing brain cancer and brain tumors.

Each year, more than 23,000 people in the United States are diagnosed with brain and other nervous system cancers. Brain and spinal cord tumors are also among the most common cancers diagnosed in children, which makes awareness and research even more important.

Gray is the awareness color for brain tumors β€” a symbol of strength, hope, and support for everyone impacted.

The Nancy Valenkamph Cancer Foundation is proud to stand with patients, families, caregivers, researchers, and organizations like the American Cancer Society in supporting brain cancer research and awareness.

This May, we encourage you to wear gray, share information, support research, and remember the families who are walking through this fight every day.

Together, we can bring more awareness, more hope, and more support to the brain cancer community. πŸ’™πŸ©Ά

April and May are our annual sponsorship months, and we are asking for your support.

When you sponsor the Nancy Valenkamph Cancer Foundation, you are helping fund meaningful cancer research that has played a role in advancing treatment technologies and improving the lives of cancer patients. Through efforts connected with the American Cancer Society Relay For Life Program and Hero of Research Grants, this work has helped bring hope and real progress to so many families.

We have seen how important research is. We have seen the difference it can make. That is why this fundraiser matters so much.

Please visit https://nancyvalenkamphcancerfoundation.com/ and review the letter and sponsorship form on the home page under Annual Nancy Valenkamph Fundraiser. Every sponsorship helps us continue supporting this important work.

Thank you for considering a sponsorship and for helping us make a difference.

May is an important month for cancer awareness and research.

This month highlights several key areas of focus, including brain cancer, bladder cancer, melanoma, and skin cancer. It is also a time to recognize the life-changing impact of cancer research and the progress being made through early detection, targeted treatments, and continued support.

For more than 15 years, the Nancy Valenkamph Cancer Foundation has proudly partnered with the American Cancer Society Relay For Life program to support research efforts that truly make a difference.

Research saves lives. Early detection saves lives. Awareness saves lives.

Please take advantage of available early detection technologies, stay informed, and encourage the people you love to do the same.

Together, we can continue supporting hope, progress, and a future with better outcomes for those affected by cancer.

Most of us know someone whose life has been touched by cancer.

Take a moment today to reach out to someone who is fighting.
A message, a call, a few words of encouragement... it matters more than you know.

Remind them they are not alone.
Remind them they are stronger than they feel.

β€œDon’t give up. Don’t ever give up.”

Together, we continue the fight.

Wishing you a joyful and hope-filled Easter from all of us at the Nancy Valenkamph Cancer Foundation. πŸ’–πŸ£πŸ°

This season is a beautiful reminder that even after the hardest seasons, hope blooms again. Easter brings thoughts of renewal, strength, faith, and the love we share with one another.

Today, we celebrate the courage of those fighting, the memory of those we carry in our hearts, and the families, friends, and supporters who continue to make a difference every day.

May your Easter be filled with peace, love, and the promise of brighter days ahead.

Happy Easter from the Nancy Valenkamph Cancer Foundation. πŸŒ·πŸ’βœ¨
