This past Thursday, we had the pleasure of welcoming District Governor Jeff Weinrach to our Rotary Club!

Our President, David McSherry, did an amazing job welcoming Governor Weinrach and sharing some of the inspiring service projects that Rotary is all about.

We are grateful for the opportunity to connect, learn, and continue working together to make a positive difference in our community. Thank you, Governor Weinrach, for visiting our club! 🤝💙

Welcome to Rotary, John Krehibel! 🎉

The members of the Deming Rotary Club are excited to welcome John Krehibel as our newest member!

John is well known as the voice of our local radio station, KOTS Radio, and for his dedication to keeping our community informed, connected, and engaged. His commitment to supporting local events, organizations, and the people of Deming makes him a wonderful addition to our Rotary family.

We are grateful for community-minded individuals like John who continually give back and help make Deming a better place to live, work, and grow.

Wonderful visit last Thursday at the Weekly Rotary meeting. Thank you Yailin for sharing with us your future plans. Deming Rotary wish you lots if success in your future.

On Thursday, Yailin Garcia spoke to the Deming Rotary Club about her experiences at ECHS and her plans to study veterinary medicine at NMSU. She answered several questions related to her internship at High Desert Veterinary and her volunteer work at Dagship. She spoke about possibilities to contend with feral cats, what inspired her interest in working with animals, how many animals she currently has, and her indecision about whether she would pursue a concentration with large animals or small. A member of honor society and student body president, Yailin has also participated in soccer. Her involvements are remarkable as she also is on track to earn her associate degree this May, when she will also be graduating from high school. We appreciate our local Rotary Club and their hospitality as they treat our ECHS students to a delicious lunch at La Fonda. The meetings are a pleasure to attend as the Rotary Club works to support Deming and inspire service amongst their members, who are dedicated to bettering our community.
