Two Copper Kindness

Each year, our family provides Thanksgiving meals to local families in need, usually for between 60-80 people. This is a dear dear effort to us personally as we believe there are great memories to be made in a home full of yummy smells, waiting to spend quality time together.

We do this as a personal expense, but each year, folks inquire regarding how to support if they are able. This year, due to some family medical challenges which have impacted our available funds, we have decided to allow donations to the effort.

We anticipate a greater need than in previous years, due to so many challenges in our community, including limits to benefits and SNAP support.

We will be preparing extra family sized and couple's sized Thanksgiving meals this week. Please PM me if you are in need and would like to receive one, or if you have neighbors in need and you would like to make arrangements for them.

Over the last five years of doing this, we've had many families as well as some older couples without family nearby. We can deliver on Wednesday evening or you may pick up from my home near Osteen.

Menu:
Turkey or ham, stuffing, cranberry sauce, candied yams, green bean casserole, gravy and rolls. All items are homemade, prepared family style and ready for you to bake in your own oven!

And a pumpkin pie 🙂

Please let me know by Tuesday morning, 10 am, if you would like to receive a meal so we have time to prepare.
